OPERATION IN DUSTY OR SANDY AREAS
Operating in dusty or sandy areas can cause pitting
and scratching of optical elements and damage to
mechanical components unless the precautions given
below are observed.
A.
Prior to inserting coolant cartridge (1), insure receptacle is free
of dust or dirt.
B.
Keep field handling case (2) closed unless removing or replacing items.
C.
Remove all dust and sand from the Night Sight exterior (3) after
operation.
D.
Do not brush or wipe dust from lens.
