Set AN/GVS-5 POWER switch (10) to OFF.

Remove AN/GVS-5 battery (11) from battery compartment (12) and store in
carrying case (13).
Install cap (14) on AN/GVS-5 front lens (15).

Supporting AN/GVS-5 (16) securely, loosen captive screw (17) and
remove AN/GVS-5 (16).
K.
Place AN/GVS-5 (16) in carrying case (13).
