MODIFICATION PROCEDURES - CONTINUED
(2) Installation:
(a) Install spacer (1) on rod (2).
NOTE
There are two types of cam support brackets; either left (3) or right (4).
(b) Install cam support bracket (3 or 4) and flat washer (5) on rod (2).
(c) Install spring (6) on rod (2).
(e) Apply sealing compound to rod (2) end.
(f) Install rod (2) into hull.
(g) Install M45 periscopes in accordance with TM 9-2350-314-10.
